Kids will be more happier if they connected with nature

Hello parents, do you know that kids are more happier when they connected to nature. Recently few researchers found this and published in 'Frontiers in Psychology. The study showed that the connectedness to the nature makes children happier because of their tendency to perform sustainbale and pre-ecological behaviours. Parents and teachers should promote the children to have more significant exposure to nature. If this happens then the children will be more happier, said study researcher Laura Berrera-Hernandez from Sonora Institute of Technology in Mexico. The researchers said that a disconnection with nature, termed 'nature deficit disorder', that may lead to the destruction of the planet as the lack of bonding with nature is unlikely result in desire to protect it. For the findings, the research team recruited 296 children between the age of 9 and 12 from Mexican City. All the children were given a self-administered scale completed in school to asses their connectedness to nature, happiness. The researchers came to clussions that those children are connected with nature had positive association for sustainability practices and behaviors also lead to children reporting higher level of perceived happiness. So kids should more and more connected with nature to have greater level of happiness.
